Our campaign
What was it all about?
Way back in 2008, we launched Cooking with Schools. Our mission: to put healthy eating at the heart of the classroom, showing children how to prepare and cook healthy food – while having fun in the process!
Through this exciting initiative, Flora provided thousands of pounds worth of cooking equipment to primary schools, equipping school staff to teach children the importance of eating well and maintaining a healthy heart.
How did it work?
Cooking with Schools worked by collecting and redeeming tokens printed on packs of Flora. These could be registered and exchanged for cooking equipment – just one large pack giving you enough tokens to redeem a spatula, a bread loaf tin or a wooden spoon in our very own Cooking with Schools Webshop.
Throughout the campaign, school staff could take advantage of our useful teaching resources online. Registered schools could also create personalised campaign material to encourage parents, staff and members of the local community to support them and collect tokens.
